Unfortunately you still need an editor on Android when you are not connected. I'd still go for Onlyoffice so you can work anywhere, legally free, and on iPad or chromebook as well as Laptop. Libreoffice & openooffice are free, good, can do some tricks like store in webdav etc, have a small database and are quite compatible with MS Office, but they do give some compatibility problems when the stuff gets complexer. WPS & Freeoffice are fremium and lack a cloud-option. It is opensource and should be legally available for free for you. It also is available as a cloud-office either through or on nextcloudproviders that support it (I use ). Teams displays a prompt when installation is complete. Get the Windows app, and then select Run. To install Microsoft Teams, go to the page, and choose Teams. Onlyoffice is available for Android (currently viewer only), ios, Mac, Win and Linux and works well on Chromebooks. Select Install Office > Microsoft 365 apps > Run, and then select Yes. I find Onlyoffice and WPS-office have the best compatibility. If they do not: you can go for the student option. It can even edit docx files.īu if you want better docx compatibility.
